What's your favourite sport?

In 1st grade, we did a graphic about their favourite sport. They had to decide which sport they prefered and they had to stick their name on it, saying "My favourite sport is...". After doing it all the students, we could see that the favourite sport from the kids of 1st grade is Football and Skating!

Final project: animals!

Last term, the 1st and 2nd grades students were working about the animals in the projects of the afternoons. The last sessions they created a poster in groups about an animal and they wrote different things about it. They also sticked some photos and drawings and the final results were amazing! They did a little explanation in front of the class about their animal and, as you can see, they did an incredible job!

Sensitivity in our body

In the subject of Science, in 3rd grade, we did a little experiment to see how sensitive is our skin depending on each part of our body. We used a feather and whe put a blindfold on our eyes to feel it better, so to decide if the different parts were very sensitive or less sensitive. The kids had a great time and they could learn that our body can be more or less sensitive depending on the part we touch.

Vertebrate animals in 1st and 2nd grades

In "Projectes", this term we are working with 1st and 2nd grades the topic of "Vertebrate Animals". They have learned a lot about them and during the last weeks we have been preparing some posters to summarize everything they know. I have printed some photos and they have sticked them around the posters in the corresponding place, and they have also written some sentences and words related to the kind of animals they were working on.
As you all can see, they did an incredible job and the posters look so great!!

We are different!

In 3rd grade, students were learning the physical similarities and differences among them. Some of them have long hair, others have short hair, others are tall, short, others have blue eyes, others have brown or green eyes... etc.
So they decided to bring some photos with friends or relatives to class and we made a poster explaining their physical differences.
They did an amazing job!

In Science lessons from October, the kids from 1st grade were working about the main bones from the human skeleton. They learned their names and we thought it was a good opportunity to build an skeleton in class and, moreover, Halloween time was coming so it could be an scary activity too!

They enjoyed it so much and the results were great!
