What colour are your eyes?

Yesterday, taking into account the 5 senses, the kids from 1st grade made a graphic in Science class about the colour of their eyes. The main question was: "What colour are your eyes?".
I gave them some pictures of eyes for colouring, and after writing their name, they had to come in front of the class and answer the question to everyone.
They had a good time doing this activity and at the same time, they talked English in public and worked a little with Maths, counting numbers in English and making the graphic.

What are we wearing?

Hello everyone! During these weeks we have been working about clothes.... hat, shoes, t-shirt, trousers. Also, I tried to itroduce the color and the name of the clothes, example: blue trouser, yellow hat, brown shoes. And the result was amazing!!! four years old kids are learning that the adjective goes before the name.
Moreover, Tuesday afternoon one student lied down the floor and we draw her body. After this, we decided what she will be wearing. Our decisio was..."she is wearing a multicolor dress, orange hat, and brown shoes. Here you have some pictrures about the process and all of us.
I hope you will like it!!! He had a lot of fun

Mr. Potato's Five Senses

In 1st grade we are studying the 5 senses and last week all the kids built Mr. Potato's 5 senses. While they were sticking all the different parts, they had to say in english "I can touch with my hands / I can see with my eyes..." etc.
They enjoyed it a lot and Mr. Potato is on the wall of the class as the "pet" of the Science lessons.
